Founded in 1993 by former Cardiff City player Wayne Matthews, Classic began as a humble venture with Wayne embroidering sportswear from his bedroom. Driven by a passion for sports and a desire to provide affordable, UK-made alternatives to mass-imported apparell, Wayne set out to meet the unique needs of fans, players, and clubs.

Over the decades, this family-run business has grown into a leading British sportswear manufacturer, crafting bespoke apparel for grassroots clubs, premier league teams, and even the 2012 London Olympics. Proudly led by Wayne and his wife Linda, Classic continues to deliver high-quality, custom sportswear solutions with creativity, passion, and purpose.
